The breathtaking Atala Butterfly, an endangered gem of South Florida, is fluttering
on the brink of extinction?
This vibrant butterfly, a treasured resident of Winston Park and Glenvar Heights-South Miami,
lives in the unique Pine Rockland ecosystem, a special type of habitat that urgently needs our help to survive and thrive.
My name is Jordan Casañas, a resident of these areas and local Realtor with Fortune Christie’s International Real Estate.
I am also a UF Certified Master Gardener and butterfly enthusiast, and I am starting the
Atala Coontie Project.
Our initiative aims to spread awareness about the Atala Butterfly and its host plant, the Coontie, throughout our community.
Join my mission to protect these stunning creatures by winning an exclusive Atala Butterfly Farm Starter Kit! 🌱🐛
I will be raffling away 15 starter kits each quarter. Once you have planted 10 Coonties in your garden, you will be eligible to receive free caterpillars from us.
WHAT’S IN THE MAGIC KIT?
🌳 2 COONTIES: The heart and home for Atala Butterfly caterpillars.
🌼 1 SCORPION TAIL: A sweet, nectar-rich treat for adult butterflies.
By planting these, you'll transform your backyard into a sanctuary for the Atala Butterfly.
Winston Park and Glenvar Heights-South Miami are part of the Pine Rockland ecosystem,
where the Atala Butterfly coexists
harmoniously with these plants.
By creating more of this habitat, you’re helping both the butterfly and the ecosystem thrive.
Sign up today to participate and become a guardian of these delicate wings. Together, we can recreate the Pine Rockland ecosystem in our community!
